Christine Gabbusch joined the staff of King’s High School at the beginning of 1988, after returning from an extended tour of Europe which included a teaching spell in London. |Originally from Dunedin where she attended Logan Park High School she has however also lived in Christchurch and Invercargill, teaching at James Hargest High School.
Christine is a keen netballer, both as a player and coach, is still waiting for any interested boys to form a King’s team! She also enjoys tennis and reading but secretly admits to not having got over her travel bug – she still thinks there is a lot of the world including New Zealand, that she would like to explore.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Otago and decided to teach because she wanted to use her training productively. At King’s she teaches History, English, Geography and Social Studies.« Back to Glossary Index
